Before commencing the Audio Restoration phase, we consulted with many sound professionals. One among them, was a senior Gaudiya Vaisnava from another institution, a senior preacher and mentor with 25+ years of experience in the archives space. His remark especially touched us:

 

“Srila Narayana Gosvami Maharaja’s hari-katha is Acarya Vani. It is an unparalleled contribution to the Vaisnava world. So please do not compromise on the quality. Build lesser new temples if need be. Instead put all your energy, money and resources behind this archive project. Through his hari-katha, the preaching will expand and devotees down the generations will be nourished. When you look back, you will not want to lament, 'We did not give our best to preserve the wealth of his hari-katha.'"

 

It reminded us how much devotees revere Srila Gurudeva’s vani - it is the very lifeblood for many - and consequently how it is our foremost duty to preserve it to the best of our ability.
